When I began my journey into online affiliate marketing, I knew there would be a lot to learn but I had no idea just how much. Lately I have come to realize that there is a trap to all of this. It would be easy to be ever learning and never actually do anything successful. There are so many people claiming to make tons of money at this and if you just buy their book, you can be successful too. It occurs to me that part of their success comes from the sales of those crucial ebooks. Get enough people believing your story and the sales add up. I don’t have a problem with those who have a legitimate program but as with other internet programs, scams abound.

I have some people I follow but they are basically people that I have followed long enough to be confident that they are legit. They are sharing the programs they have found to work for them. Now I have to take what they have to offer and sift it to find what I am supposed to do with it. Simply following their programs will not get me where I am supposed to go.

Over the past year, I have created a few websites. Some of them are enjoying some traffic and others not so much. Rather than creating a bunch more and hope they do well, I feel that it is time for me to promote what I already have. It’s spring time here in the States and one of my sites deals with gardening. I am going to begin promoting that to the best of my ability and see what happens. If the economy doesn’t cave in first, I believe it has a chance and I’ll record what happens.
