I’ve finally got all my Squidoo lenses updated to 2009. The nice thing is I took time to actually make some meaningful changes to them. I have another one in the planning stage on waste plastic in the environment. I think that will be number 41 for me. One of these days I will hit that magical #50 that can earn me Giant Squid status. I want to get there but made a decision that rather than just blow out a bunch of lenses, I want to create quality lenses and the numbers will take care of themselves. The upside of this is that if I get stuck and need to take a break, there is no pressure. Sooner or later my curiosity will get me going again.
I have met so many wonderful people on Squidoo. It really is a great community. As you find people who kind of click with what you write and vice versa, it makes the internet a little less intimidating. I would certainly encourage anyone who is thinking about joining to go ahead and jump in. Don’t worry about having something to write about because if you write about what interests you, the lenses will come.
